We took a day trip to the Ethiopian countryside today. What a
beautiful country Ethiopia is. We saw lots of familiar looking
farmland... On the side of the road we also saw these Baboons. My mom
always said they were kinda like relatives of mine. After seeing them
up close I can see they look nothing like me. We also visited the
oldest orthodox Monestary in Ethiopia. Tonight we had our traditional
cultural meal of injera and wat... Yummm... Ezra was an absolute
trouper today as we shlept him all over the place... He was full of
smiles, giggles and short naps. He is the kind of kid that fights to
the bitter end when he is over tired it's so funny. When he gets to
the tipping point he flicks his ear that's our sign that he's minutes
away from passing out ;) Some of the best times we are having are when
we just lay on the bed beside Ezra and watch him roll around and
giggle. Such a sweet little boy... He charms everyone that sees him.
Missed the Holland game I hope they won!!!
Tomorrow is a more relaxed day back at the guest house...
We might check out the Ethiopian version of Statbucks...
Miss you all...
